Previously at this place for the cutout to get onto the sidewalk with a wheelchair you had to get on by the Hobby lobby or at the other end of the shopping center by Schlotzsky's. However when we arrived we noticed a cut out on the sidewalk right in front. When we get to the building I couldn't get through one of the doors because of where their magazine rack was sitting, but with the other door open I could get in. The table we had was a little bit on the low side and a little harder for me to eat off of. There was enough room to move around the restaurant.

The handicap parking spot right in front does not have enough space for our ramp, so we either just park out a ways in the lot or in College Americas handicap spots next door.  There is decent spacing throughout and easy to get between tables.  The table we sat at worked well.  To get to the men’s room you have to follow the hall past the kitchen, and then you find a small accessible restroom that works and that’s about it.

Doug's Day Diner - Fort Collins, CO

This place is in the SuperTarget shopping center between quite a few other restaurants. But there happened to be three handicap spots that are right in front of Doug's. We first went in at about noon on Saturday it was crowded in the front because of so many people waiting. But once people waiting were seated it was fairly easy to get through the restaurant in my wheelchair. Our table worked very well for me and was actually a good-sized table for the four of us, and I didn't check the bathroom.

This located in the Super Target shopping center.  There are handicap parking spots, but just not directly in front of J Gumbos.  Where we did park we had plenty of room.  We walked /drove not too far to the place; from there it was easy to get through the place.  There was plenty of room just about everywhere, the table we sat at worked great.  There was easy access to the restrooms (I don’t know about inside).  The also bring your food to the table, so that helps out.  We left and went out the back door which worked well.

This place worked ok.  There were a couple of handicap spots to park not directly in front but a couple of stores down.  There was enough room to unload easily.  Inside the counter to order at was easy enough to get to, where you pick up your order was kind of high, but my dad was with me to help that.  There were only a couple of tables that would work and did work.  The rest were booths but I don’t think I could pull up to the end of the booth because my wheelchair I think would have been too wide to fit.  There was quite a bit of room in the place to get around.  On a previous visit I tried to go to the bathroom which was easy to get to, but when I was done I couldn’t get the door open by myself, so I was stuck for a while.

The handicap parking was kind of to the side of the building, not right in front.  The spot we parked in had enough room and everything but the end of the ramp to get on the sidewalk was at the same spot as where our ramp from our van landed, so I had to just be careful getting out of the van.  I was able to get on the sidewalk and it was easy to get from there to the door.  After we went in the first door there was a long skinny area with a place to sit and then another door, this was a little awkward but not too bad.  There was not a ton of space in the front area, but did seem like there was quite a bit of space in the dining area.  The table worked fine and I could get under it with no problems.

Celestino's New York Pizza - Ft Collins CO

After my friend and I were disappointed at the last pizza place that we couldn’t get into we were still wanting pizza.  So I found this place which sounded like it was accessible, and was in a new building.  When we got there we went in the front door there is a sharp turn with a magazine rack, but I was able to get around it.  Inside was nice; there was plenty of space to get around.  The counter where you order is pretty close to the drink area, so if people are there filling their drinks and waiting to make it difficult to get to the counter to order.  While we waited we picked a table.  This table was tilted so one end was too low to get under and the other end was too high, but the middle was ok.  This place is across from the oval at CSU, so I was worried about parking.  However there were two handicap parking spots behind the building, one which was being used by the mail truck when we got there.

Castillons family Mexican restaurant - Fort Collins Colorado

When we got here in the handicapped parking spots were taken, so we parked behind the building next to the next building and thought we would follow the sidewalk back to the front.  This spot was by a dumpster and we unloaded by the no parking sign which worked well. when we got back up toward the front there were steps that went down to the lower sidewalk that went to the door so I had to go all the way back to where we parked and go all way back to the spot to get off the sidewalk and then went through the parking lot around and found a ramp to the sidewalk which wasn't even by the handicapped parking spot. When we went in there was quite a bit a room in the front area and space to get around throughout the restaurant they seated us at the table that was easy to get to and it was rather large for just me and my mom. The table was a little low and I couldn't quite get under it all away but I managed. The bathroom I didn't try.

 Not Wheelchair Accessible

A friend and I were thinking about pizza for lunch so we came here ready for pizza. When we got there, there were a couple of steps up to a sidewalk like area in front of the door.  So we figured if I could get on the sidewalk at the other end, by the next store which was fed ex kinkos, we could come back to Uncles.  This is what I’ve had to do at many different places. 

When we got back close to Uncles we realized I wasn’t going to be able to get there with my wheelchair because there was fence like thing blocking the sidewalk.  So we went across the street to Taste of Philly, which I knew was accessible.

I was meeting friend for lunch so I was being dropped -off the first's handicap spot right in front of the place was full and so was the one down the block as well as the one around the corner. so we went back further north a block or two was a city for Collins building but it was a Saturday so it didn't look too busy. This spot we was good with plenty of loading space, I did have to drive my wheelchair a ways and then had cross the street at the light which worked fine. When we went inside us you have to order at the bar, which is kind of high and was hard for me to order and pay, but with my friend’s help I got it done.

The bathroom a little hard to get to, there is a steep place to get to the little hallway that led to the bathrooms. It was a little difficult to make the turn to get in, but when inside there was enough room; I also needed help Turning on the light. When I was done I tried to open the door and I couldn’t get it open, so I was getting my phone out when someone opened the door, and he said sorry and shut the door quickly while I was trying to just tell him I needed the door opened. So I texted my friend and he came and got the door. The rest of the restaurant seemed ok there was plenty of space between the bar and the tables on the opposite wall, and most of the tables looked ok.

We parked in a handicapped spot that had enough room for us, but it wasn't really too close to the place and they had steps down to a lower sidewalk that went to the restaurant. I was able to go around the van to the sidewalk which got to the lower part as well, and then we walked a ways to get to the restaurant. It was a little difficult to get in the door, since the two doors were a little close to each other but we made it in. Most of the tables looked like they would work just fine plus that was quite a bit of space in between the tables. The bathroom is fairly easy to get to. The stall worked very well. The sink look like it would work good but it had kind of a curtain hanging down so I don't off I would hit something if I try to go under it or not.

It was a little difficult for us to find a handicapped spot to park in; the two spots on that block were full. We did find a spot around the corner which did not have the loading zone on the right side for us, but since the spots were slanted enough our ramp came out in front of the next car. We then had to walk/drive quite a ways back to Nordy’s. When we got there they have one of the doors that spin when you walk through it, which obviously did not work for me, but they do have a regular door as well. To get to the bathroom you have to go all the way to the back of the place through a few tight spaces and past the buffet which could be a little difficult. The bathroom worked surprisingly well the stall was good and I could use the sink, the only thing I needed was the door held and I think I could have pushed it open from the inside. The table we sat at worked ok after they pulled up the side flap so I could get under.

There was one handicapped spot that worked well for us to get the ramp out, there were more but they would not have worked for us. Inside there was some space inside and enough to get around fairly easily. The bathroom was fairly easy to get to but when you got there I had to make a sharp turn to get in which made it a little difficult plus when you get in the trash can was directly in my way and there wasn’t many places to put it. The stall was actually pretty good with plenty of space and worked well. The sink was up in the tight spot by the door and the trash can so it was hard to get to also. It was easy to get to the table which was fairly big, but for napkins they had a post type thing with a roll of paper towels which was hard for me to get, I couldn't get to them so I need help getting those. When they brought the menu they were huge and I had trouble getting it open and turning the pages, it was kind of hard to handle.

I met a friend at Buffalo wild wings for lunch. I got dropped off in one of the two handicap spots by the next store. One spot was on the side that we needed for the ramp part of the van, it was not a very big loading zone and if there was a car in the next spot there probably would not have been enough room to unload.

There are two sets of doors in the front with quite a bit of room in the front area and around the doors. The bathroom is fairly easy to get in it was one little tight around the door into the bathroom and the stall door since they were close together but there was enough room in the stall and quite a bit room in front of the sink area. I could get to most of the tables some of them were a little hard to get to but most of them will work fine for a wheelchair.

There was a handicapped spot just down the road. There would not have been enough room to unload with a car in the next spot. Around the corner was another spot that would have worked better with enough room. When you go inside you immediately turn and go down a ramp which made it hard for someone to hold the door. My friend was there to help, but it was hard for him to do this. They had a sign at the bottom of the ramp that made me turn short and kind of off the side of the ramp which wasn't too high of a drop off. Inside was very crowded especially for a wheelchair. You have to order at one counter and go to another to pay. The counter to order at was fairly easy to get to, but it was hard for me to get to the counter where we had to pay so my friend took my money to pay for me. There were two handicap spots with the loading zone in between in front of the restaurant. They both happened to be full at the time. When you get onto the sidewalk to the restaurant there are steps up to the door. I had to go around a couple of trees to a ramp that goes up to the door. Inside they have tile floors which were rough for me driving my wheelchair across. There were steps and a ramp to get to the main seating area, the ramp was slightly out of my way but not too bad. The table was okay but not great, there was enough room on the table and to get to the table.

I had lunch with a friend at Pita Pit, there was handicapped parking fairly close to the building, but we parked around the shopping center, since we saw a spot we figured we should take it, but the sidewalk around to the place was fine, easy to drive on.  Inside was spacious, easy to get to the counter to order and find a table with more space around one side for me to park my chair.  I didn't use the bathroom which was down a hallway.
