Subway Rawlins, WY

6/9/2010

Subway Rawlins, WY

No handicap parking, but there was plenty of space since it was next to a closed shopping center. The inside was fine, the table was half booth with chairs on other side, worked well. The bathroom was a little tight inside, the sink and paper towels worked with help.

The parking was ok, the door worked fine. The building had plenty of room, the table was good. The bathroom was good, had plenty of room. I could mostly use this by myself with limited help like the door.

Hill Aerospace Museum Ogden, Utah

Handicap parking right in front plenty of spaces, doors were easy to get through. There was plenty of space to move around, but there were a few tight spots. The bathroom was a little hard to get into, the stall was able to do what I had to do, works. The sink was ok, but couldn’t get to the towels.

OK

Burger Bar Roy, Utah

Handicap parking was close to the entry to the parking lot would have been hard to get in and out with traffic. We parked out in back which was not in a handicap spot. There was no inside, there was a little bit of a patio area and a sidewalk in front. There were no tables just benches out in front, so I need more help like having someone hand me what I needed to eat.

OK

Ruth’s Diner Salt Lake City, Utah

6/7/2010 and 6/9/2010

Ruth’s Diner Salt Lake City, Utah

The handicap parking was a little far away, the closer parking was full. This worked for me since I don’t have to walk. The main door was not accessible, we had to go around the side, and in the door or stay on the patio. It was tight just about everywhere. Tables were good, couldn’t get to some of them though. Not the best for accessibility, but there is only so much you can do to a 1930s diner, and the mile high biscuits were worth it.

The handicapped parking was in front of five guys which was next door. The doors, inside and space were all good, and the table worked good.

Spring mobile ballpark Salt Lake City, Utah

The Parking Was across the Street, but it was easy to cross the street. The main entrance you went in and up an elevator, the third-base entrance you go in and up a ramp. The bathrooms were a okay the stalls were tight and I couldn't get all the way in. The family room was a lot better, it had an auto light, enough room and the sink was good. I could mostly use it myself just needed help with the door.

the parking was fool in front of building but we parked in handicap parking across the parking lot. The doors space and inside were all good. There were only a few handicap tables inside wouldn't work for two wheelchairs, some seats were bolted down. Also a couple of the outside tables would have worked to. The bathroom was good, I just needed help with the door.

This hotel is now a Holiday Inn Express

The parking was very good there were plenty of handicap spots in front. There was an automatic door in the front with plenty of room around it. There was plenty of room in the lobby, and the room was very spacious and had room for the hoyer and the shower chair. The table in the room worked but was a little tight to get to it. The bathroom door was easy to open and close there was plenty of room. The toilet was a little close to the wall which made it hard for someone to help me. There wasn't a lot of room around the sink, I could get my hands under the water but couldn't turn on the faucet. The bathroom also had a nice roll in shower which was very helpful. The bed was not quite high enough for the lift to get under but we used a couple of pieces of wood to raise the bed slightly.

The parking was good right in front of building. The doorways had good the space inside had plenty of room and I could get under the table. The bathroom was being cleaned so we did not use it.

Fort Steele rested area, Wyoming

Fort Steele rested area, Wyoming

There was a handicap button to the building, it was a little high but it worked. The stall looked small but could have pulled in a little. We used the family room which was a little small, there was a drain in the floor which made the floor uneven. There was an auto sink which worked but the hand dryer was broken, but I had my own paper towels. I could mostly use this rest room by myself but needed a little help with the door and drying my hands.

There were two parts of parking lot, we had to follow sidewalk around to the door, we didn’t park in handicap parking. There were 2 doors which worked, but I couldn’t get in myself. Inside was good there was plenty of space, tables worked well, I could get under. The bathroom worked okay with help. The door pulled out so I needed help the stall had enough room overall the space was a little tight sink was a little hard to get to, and I need help getting the paper towels. I could use the bathroom but needed help in it.

We had to parallel park because the lot was almost full, but it worked ok just got dropped off by the sidewalk. It was very accessible.

Ramada Inn Tucson, AZ

Ramada Inn
Tucson, AZ

The room was an accessible two queen 2 room suite. It was spacious in most places. It was tight getting into the bedroom because the bed was too close to the door. There were limited plug ins, no roll in shower, and even with it being an accessible room I couldn’t get under the sink and could only get in the bathroom. There was ok parking, no automatic door, but we came in a gate into the courtyard.

OK

Parking ok, ramp to get in was good. There were no tables just booths that I couldn’t get under and between, so had to use the food tray (food was not so good either). The bathroom was small had to back in and back out and was also very dirty.

TERRIBLE

Comfort Suites Santa Fe, NM

3/11/2010
Comfort Suites
Santa Fe, NM

Parking was good, enough room. The room did not have a ton of room which was ok for one night, but was a little harder to use the hoyer to lift me but it worked, not an accessible room because the accessible rooms had one king bed, which wouldn’t work for us.

OK

Parking was bad hard to get in the handicap spot, and was steep. The ramp to get there had a hole in it, and the other ramp had mud at the end and a puddle, there was also a square hole in the sidewalk that was hard to get around, but we made it in. The inside was ok and the table worked well.

BAD
