Lockhart, Texas

October 26, 2015

There were more cutouts to get off the sidewalks than I expected, most worked but weren’t great. All the sidewalks and corners were all a little bit different.  My dad walked and I drove my wheelchair from Black’s barbecue to Smitty’s barbecue’s two of the famous places, there were some bad spots in the sidewalks.

Idaho Springs Colorado

August 19, 2013

We stopped in Idaho Springs for lunch at the Main Street restaurant. This was on Miner Street I surprisingly could get on and off most sidewalks at the corners. Some of the restaurants were accessible, but it seemed like most of the other stores were not. There were two big parking lots between 15th and 17th Ave.  The handicapped parking was okay but maybe didn't have the biggest loading zone.  When we were there on a Monday at lunch there were a lot of open parking spaces. There was a ramp up to a train that was next to the parking lot, but you can’t see in unless you go up a couple of steps. There was a path under I 70 that went to the waterwheel which was wheelchair accessible.
