Hohokam Stadium – Mesa Arizona

There was handicapped parking in a small lot right next to the stadium close enough to get hit by a foul ball. Our seats were way down the third-base line and had good space and were easy to get to, but the problem was this day was 95° and right in the sun so it got rather hot.  There were a couple of nice handicapped accessible family restrooms, but they were not easy to find as they were a little bit hidden.

Salt River fields at talking stick – Scottsdale Arizona

We had second-level seats which were at the top of the sections on the main concourse. And which were shaded. It was easy to get to our seats.  There were a few family/accessible restrooms which were very nice. The handicap parking lot was full when we arrived so dad dropped us off and went and parked.

Warner Park – Papillion, NE

It was easy to park and easy to enter the stadium and easy to get to our seats. The family restroom we used a couple times was very nice. This night was very hot and humid especially after it rained but other and that I had a nice night at the ballpark.

Ferris wheel at Modern Woodmen Park – Davenport Iowa

At Modern Woodmen Park there is a wheelchair accessible Ferris wheel. I had never been on a Ferris wheel except for maybe when I was real little. This was a lot of fun being able to do something I normally wouldn’t be able to do.

This is the home ballpark of the Quad Cities River Bandits and we went this night specifically so we could get a Joe Maddon bobble head. This ballpark was an older ballpark so the concourse areas were kind of a bit crowded. They had a different gate for the handicap entry. I think it was the same one for the season ticket holders. So you just go in that door and then to the elevator. The handicap seats were at the top of the sections and fairly close to the field.

A lot of times it’s hard to eat ballparks when you can’t find a table or anything to eat off of which makes it difficult.

 

But at the handicap seats there were basically these small tables on the railing to use right next to your cup holder.

Goodyear ballpark – Goodyear Arizona

The parking at the stadium was pretty good, but was in a different location for the handicap parking for that day only. We went to the third-base side will call window which was near the home plate gate. The home plate gate was all right and easy to get through.  Our seats were all right, they were on the first base side. They were right in front of the burger stand and the hamburger buns were blocking one of our spots but there were plenty of open seats, so it was not a problem for this day. The family restroom was excellent and one of the best I’ve seen a ballpark.

Sloan Park Mesa Arizona

This Stadium had okay parking, but we did have to walk a bit to get to the stadium.  There was a nice family room or two. It was pretty accessible around the whole concourse, but it was crowded because of the amount of people. Our seats were all right, they were down the first base line in right field and fairly easy to get to. They were in the sun for a fair amount of the game but toward the end we got the shade.

We parked in the parking lot that is across the street up in the front were the handicap spots. So we just had to cross the street to get to the Stadium. We went in the gate on the third base side. There are steps just inside the gate to go up. But there is also a ramp immediately to the left after entering the gate which gets you up to the top. We used both a regular restroom which worked okay but not really all that great and a family accessible restroom which worked well. One of our seats down the first base side was a bit obstructed unless you are leaning forward but they exchanged the tickets to a couple sections over.

Ogden Raptors Lindquist Field Ogden Utah

There was street parking which we used right by the ticket window. The lady at the ticket window said she wasn't sure how to do handicap tickets. Eventually she sold us one handicap seat and two seats in the row in front. This wasn't much of an issue because there weren’t a lot of people there anyways. The restroom was all right, the stall was okay. To get up to the handicap seats there was a small elevator that we had to use. Once we got up to the top there was quite a bit of space up there and even a concession stand. However there was no restroom up here.

Peoria Stadium Peoria Arizona

This parking lot worked well. There were plenty of handicap spots and was easy enough to use. Once we got up to the building there was a huge line because the gates hadn’t opened yet, but I couldn’t really get past the line to get to the end of it without getting off the sidewalk going all the way around in the parking lot so dad just went to get in line, then when he got up close we joined him in time to enter the Stadium. The concourse area was kind of large right in front just inside the gate, but there were some areas that got kind of crowded. Not real far from our seats was a family/accessible restroom this worked great except for when you have to wait for people that don't seem to be handicapped.  Our seats were probably about 10 rows back and to the first base side.  there was a rope/gate at each end of the wheelchair row to keep others out but someone had to open them to get back in.
