Usery Park Mesa Arizona

I had read about an accessible trail at Usery Park.  We stopped at the visitor center to begin with, which had good handicap parking and inside was decently accessible.  The restroom here was good.  Once we had directions to the accessible trail we drove there.  At the beginning of the trail there was a small parking lot with just spots not handicapped spots or anything. 

 

 

 

To get on the trail and out of the parking lot, you have to go over a rather large bump to get on the trail and to get back out was worse, but with help going over I made it.  There was also a non accessible restroom.  After I got to the trail, it was easy to use.  We had a very enjoyable walk on this trail.

Defalcos Deli Scottsdale Arizona

The parking lot was rather crowded and we parked next to another business and had to walk across the parking lot which wasn't so easy because we had to go quite a ways one way or quite a ways the other way. We finally got on the sidewalk and got in front of the restaurant, but I couldn't get past a table out front where someone was sitting but the lady happily got up to let us through.  Inside was very crowded and you basically had to sit between Italian goods on the shelves.  We sat next to the San Marzano tomatoes. The restroom was little difficult to get to which was right at the end of the line and right where there was only enough space for one-way traffic.  So I kind of had to wait till no one was there to get to restroom. Once you get there it was very accessible and had plenty of room.

Copper Still Gilbert Arizona

This was located in the strip mall and we had to actually parking handicap spot a couple doors down but it was a nice spot with plenty of space. From there it was easy for me to get to the door to the restaurant.  The table we sat at work nicely and it was easy to get to the bathroom from there and just about anywhere in the restaurant. The bathroom even had a good-sized stall and was easy to use.

There were no handicap spots available, but we parked at the end of lot which had a little more space on the side and then the sidewalk.   so we were able to park there and had room to unload. When we got to the door there were double doors and only one was open but it looked to me to be too tight for me to get my wheelchair through. The owner was there and said he thought it looked like I get through but I also had my urinal bag hanging on one side  and cords to my joystick for my power chair that were both hanging out further and was concerned about ripping them off, so I really didn't think I could get through safely. So the owner eventually open the door and I was in. in the front area it was a bit crowded.   The table we were seated at worked all right and was fairly easy to get to.

Peoria Stadium Peoria Arizona

This parking lot worked well. There were plenty of handicap spots and was easy enough to use. Once we got up to the building there was a huge line because the gates hadn’t opened yet, but I couldn’t really get past the line to get to the end of it without getting off the sidewalk going all the way around in the parking lot so dad just went to get in line, then when he got up close we joined him in time to enter the Stadium. The concourse area was kind of large right in front just inside the gate, but there were some areas that got kind of crowded. Not real far from our seats was a family/accessible restroom this worked great except for when you have to wait for people that don't seem to be handicapped.  Our seats were probably about 10 rows back and to the first base side.  there was a rope/gate at each end of the wheelchair row to keep others out but someone had to open them to get back in.

We had to park in a handicapped spot that was by the next business then take the sidewalk from there to Grimaldis. But part of the path to get there was made of rocks which made it very uncomfortable to drive over because it was so bumpy.  Once we got fairly close to the door I realized it wasn't wheelchair accessible so I stopped driving over the rock and my dad went in to ask about an accessible entrance and they said around the side at the to go door, so we go around the side and the door was accessible but you don't end up at the front of the restaurant so they seemed a little confused but we did get seated at a table that work just fine. After we were done eating we went back out the to go door which was busier and was next to the bar which had now filled up so a couple people had to move so we could  get out.

Rocket Burger Phoenix Arizona

The parking was not so great, we were able to park and get to the ramp to get on the sidewalk.  When we got to the door I had to go past the door and let somebody open it in and come back from the other side to get in. Inside was a little crowded, the table worked but maybe wasn't the best and most everything else was booths which wouldn’t work for me.

We had to park about a block away on the other side of the street so we had to walk about a block and then cross street to get here. There were tight spots here and there but for the most part it was easy to get through the restaurant. And our table worked fine for me. The restroom I used but I don't really remember too much about it, but it did work I do remember that.
