Union Pacific Railroad Museum – Council Bluffs Iowa

August 11, 2016

We parked on the street at a park about a block or so away. This was an old library building. Inside they had a decent restroom on the main floor. Most of the museum was on level 2 and 3 and they had an elevator. Most of the museum was easy to navigate through.

Rails West Railroad Museum– Council Bluffs Iowa

Not wheelchair accessible

There was a handicap parking spot. There was a step at the door to get into the building. My dad went in and asked if there is another entrance and they said there wasn’t and said they need to get around to building a ramp someday.

Ogden's George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park Ogden Utah

June 18, 2014

There were a good number of handicap parking spots and was easy to get to the door from there. Inside the building there is a small dinosaur Museum and there was a little bit more upstairs with an elevator to get there. Outside there are plenty of accessible trails around with plenty of model dinosaurs to look at. Some places and things like certain bridges and parts of trails weren’t accessible. The one restroom I used was a pretty good and accessible one.

Dinosaur journey – Fruita Colorado

August 21, 2013

There were a hand full handicap spots and easy entry into the building and to the video room was big and easy to get into. Also the place was open and very accessible, but there were steps up to look down into the lab which is not wheelchair accessible. The store was average for a gift shop some places were harder to get through than others.  The restroom worked well.

World War I Museum Kansas City Missouri

September 13, 2012

There were quite a few handicap parking spots all with good loading zone.  There was a water fountain that you have to walk past and go downhill for quite a ways to get to the door. One of the doors had a handicap button on it. When we bought tickets my mom asked if the tower was accessible the lady said yes there is an elevator and then 28 steps to the top, so I guess not for wheelchairs. Everything else had quite a bit of space around it and I could get to most places the bathroom was a little weird shaped but it worked okay.

Not Wheelchair accessible to top of tower, there are 28 steps.
