Salt River fields at talking stick – Scottsdale Arizona
March 13, 2017
We had second-level seats which were at the top of the
sections on the main concourse. And which were shaded. It was easy to get to
our seats. There were a few family/accessible
restrooms which were very nice. The handicap parking lot was full when we
arrived so dad dropped us off and went and parked.

Chaparral Park and Xeriscape Garden– Scottsdale Arizona

Chaparral Park
This had a little trail through it that was fairly
accessible not too exciting but all right it was at a park that had baseball
and soccer field so the parking lot was a bit busy on a Saturday afternoon but
there were multiple handicap spots that would work all right.

There was no cut out to get on the sidewalk at the front
door, but you could come around on the sidewalk from the other side. The other
door worked all right and they told us that either door was okay to use. The
bathroom was easy to get to an easy enough to use.

The parking lot was rather crowded and we parked next to
another business and had to walk across the parking lot which wasn't so easy
because we had to go quite a ways one way or quite a ways the other way. We
finally got on the sidewalk and got in front of the restaurant, but I couldn't
get past a table out front where someone was sitting but the lady happily got
up to let us through. Inside was very
crowded and you basically had to sit between Italian goods on the shelves. We sat next to the San Marzano tomatoes. The
restroom was little difficult to get to which was right at the end of the line
and right where there was only enough space for one-way traffic. So I kind of had to wait till no one was
there to get to restroom. Once you get there it was very accessible and had
plenty of room.

March 8, 2014
We had to park in a handicapped spot that was by the next
business then take the sidewalk from there to Grimaldis. But part of the path
to get there was made of rocks which made it very uncomfortable to drive over because
it was so bumpy. Once we got fairly
close to the door I realized it wasn't wheelchair accessible so I stopped
driving over the rock and my dad went in to ask about an accessible entrance
and they said around the side at the to go door, so we go around the side and
the door was accessible but you don't end up at the front of the restaurant so
they seemed a little confused but we did get seated at a table that work just
fine. After we were done eating we went back out the to go door which was
busier and was next to the bar which had now filled up so a couple people had
to move so we could get out.

Salt River field at talking stick - Scottsdale Arizona
March 10, 2013 update
Our seats this year were good, but they were in the shade on
a cool day. The family access room down the first base side was excellent there
was more than enough space. The one in
right field was great but not as big. The
sinks in the bathrooms were excellent and the paper towels were easy to get to
and I could pretty much use the bathroom by myself.

Most of the place was the same as last year, but this year
we had seats that were closer to the field and were on the third base side of
home plate. But to get to our seats I had to drive down multiple ramps down the
third base side to get down there which seem like forever which wasn't too bad
for me just kind of annoying, but somebody with a walker or somebody that can’t
walk down the steps would have a lot of trouble getting there. There were two
concession areas where we could get to without having to go all the way up at each
end of the to first base and third base side. At each end there were also
family accessible restrooms which usually had a line of able-bodied people
waiting to use it. This was just kind of
annoying since they can go up the steps. But it did work well and was very accessible.

Butterfields pancake house - Scottsdale Arizona
Information in this post is Accurate
as of March 7, 2013
March 9, 2012
There were some handicap parking spots but they were all full and we parked out ways where there was room. It was easy to get onto the sidewalk which came around to the front. When we got to the front there were people waiting outside and inside the place was packed so while we waited, I went to check out the bathroom. The restrooms were down a long hall, this bathroom worked very well with plenty of room. The sink was good and I was able to use it and I could also actually reach and get the paper towels out by myself. Our table worked good there were some booths that wouldn’t have worked for us but most of the tables would work.
