IHOP – Pueblo Colorado

The handicap parking spots were not right up by the door and you had to come around the side of the building to get to it. Inside was just about like any other IHOP I’ve seen.  It was fairly easy to get through and the bathroom was fairly accessible and easy to use.

There was a parking lot back behind the restaurant and there were a few handicap spots, the one we parked in worked alright. There is a ramp that we took to get up to the door. The area right in front was alright and easy to get into the building when we were seated part of the seating area was down a couple steps.

Mimi’s Café – Albuquerque New Mexico

This was across the lot from our hotel so it was not too difficult to get there. There was quite a bit of space in the front area and our table was easy to get to and worked well.

Walmart – various locations

Over the years traveling we’ve found Walmart’s to have very good accessible restrooms. They tend to have the regular ones in front which are good and a family/accessible restroom in the back which have all been very accessible with a ton of space. Just about everywhere has a Walmart so they’re easy to find. Although some are easier to get to than others.

Jersey Mike’s – Phoenix Arizona

This place was a bit crowded around the line area but not too bad, I found an accessible table that worked well. But my biggest problem was just eating the sandwich, this was probably the most trouble I’ve had eating in a while the main problem was that was made Mike’s way so they basically drench the sandwich with oil and vinegar, so everything was wet and slippery and I had lettuce going everywhere. This was not a great experience and next time I’ll either get less oil and vinegar or a sub in a tub or go elsewhere.

SanTan Brewing Company– Chandler Arizona

We found a good handicap spot in a lot back behind. We walked around to the front. There was a long wait this night. Finally the table was available it was a bit difficult to get to and get in and out of and it was a little bit too low for me but we made it work. I think there were quite a few other tables that would have been easier to get to, if the place wasn’t so busy and the tables were not already taken.

Estrella Mountain Park – Goodyear Arizona

There was a nice visitor center with a very nice handicap restroom. From there we drove to the accessible trail. This had an okay parking lot and had a porta potty at the trailhead. This was a good accessible trail, but was not very exciting and there was limited shade. In the middle of the trail there was a shelter and a bench with a little bit if shade.

Desert botanical Gardens – Phoenix Arizona

There was very nice handicap parking that was easy to get to the entry from. Inside has quite a few accessible trails, mostly accessible anyways. Along with benches to sit every so often. The bathroom near the entry was decently accessible.

We parked in a lot a couple blocks away in a handicap spot and took the sidewalk there was no problems. Inside was easy to navigate and the table worked well.
