Lemongrass Café – Moline Illinois

August 8, 2016

There was a good parking lot behind with handicap parking spots. We walked around to the front assuming the front door would be the regular door to enter but the front door was not wheelchair accessible. So we went back around to the back and was easily able to enter from the back door. Inside was all right a tad crowded between some of the tables. Our table worked well. The restroom was back by the back door but I don’t know how the inside of it was.

John Deere pavilion – Moline Illinois

August 8, 2016

There is pretty good parking right in front. This was very accessible and easy to get around and look at all the tractors on display. They also had a very nice restroom.

John Deere harvester works – Moline Illinois

August 8, 2016

The lobby area was very accessible and had a very nice restroom. When we got to the desk and told them we were there for a Tour they called someone to get the accessible cart. When everyone was ready for the tour I had to drive up a rather steep ramp to get on the cart which had wheelchair tie downs. Then put a headset on so you can hear the tour guide. Part of the tour everyone got off the cart and went up the steps to the paint area with the tour guide. And when this was happening the driver set me up to watch a video about it. Otherwise the whole tour was the same as everyone else had.

Harris pizza – Rock Island Illinois

August 6, 2016

The parking is across the street to you just have to cross a not too busy of a street. The front area wasn’t exactly that spacious but was easy enough to get through. There were plenty of tables we could get to and the one we sat at worked well. It was also easy to get to the back of the restaurant where the restroom was and the restroom was very accessible.

Illinois rest area I – 55 mile marker 27

September 10, 2012

This rest area had a great family room on both sides of the interstate but there was no automatic door or handicap button to open the door that I noticed. Parking was good.

Charley’s grilled subs Rockford Illinois

September 10, 2011

This is located in mall food court. There were handicap spots where you can get onto the sidewalk that goes towards the door. The doors were not automatic so someone would have to open them for me. The counter was kind of high and hard to hear them and probably hard for them to hear me, but they got my order right. The table was very good in the food court very good and very easy to get under. Close to the food court was the restrooms. There was a family room that was very accessible, with a ton of space.
