Morgan's Wonderland – San Antonio, Texas

October 25, 2015

Morgan’s Wonderland had excellent wheelchair access everywhere.  the parking was great with plenty of wheelchair accessible spots. There were family restrooms near the entrance area and in various other places. There were plenty of places to go walking or driving a wheelchair. There were jeeps on a track that you can drive your wheelchair into and ride. There was a carousel, the wheelchair spot was Dragon that you can drive your wheelchair in and it actually went up and down.

There was a train that was not quite big enough so it was a bit difficult for me to get my chair parked in it but once I did it was fun going on the train ride.

There were also wheelchair swings where the wheelchair would go on and be tied down then the volunteer helped me swing. There was also a raised sandbox and raised water thing. A fishing dock which wasn’t open for fishing at the time we were there. This place was an awesome place and I had a lot of fun although I wish I would’ve been able to visit when I was younger and I think I would’ve had even more fun.

We were also very lucky that we were able to visit. That time a year they are only open on the weekends which there was terrible weather and Friday and Saturday so the place was closed because of the rain and whether. But Sunday cleared up enough, so we were able to visit.
