Forno 301 – Phoenix Arizona

March 12, 2017

There was parking in the back, some of it was covered and some was not. The entrance was a bit crowded. We were seated at the first table, back further into the restaurant look pretty crowded. The table we had worked alright.

Desert botanical garden – Phoenix Arizona

March 12, 2017

There are quite a few very nice handicapped parking spots in the parking lot right up close. From there it's pretty easy to get to the main entrance and where they sell tickets. Throughout the garden is mostly wheelchair accessible, however there were a few places that weren't too good. There is a nice restroom just inside the gates with a decent size stall. They have quite a few nice accessible trails. When we were leaving we had an interesting issue with my wheelchair as the battery died while we were there and I almost couldn't up the ramp and back into the van so the next day or two we had to figure out how to get them replaced which isn’t exactly fun on a vacation.

South Mountain Café – Phoenix Arizona

March 12, 2017

This place wasn't the prettiest looking place.  The parking lot wasn't the greatest either, but it appeared like they were working on all the stuff to fix it up.  They did actually have a rather large parking lot back behind.  Once you find the cut out to get on the sidewalk next to the building then it wasn't too hard to get inside.  The inside was pretty wide-open it was easy to get to the counter where you order and when we were there, there weren’t many people there so we got to pick whatever table we wanted. Then they bring your food out to you so everything worked pretty well.

Mi Patio – Phoenix Arizona

March 11, 2017

The parking lot was mostly full when we arrived, but we did find a parking spot in the back that wasn't a handicap spot but it was next to a dumpster so we were able to get out of the van. Once we got inside the floor was tiled and little rough to drive over and right away we found out the bathroom was not accessible which I had to use pretty urgently. So we left and went to find an accessible bathroom once we did this, we came back and we were seated at table that was a little crowded around it and not the easiest to get to, but we made it work.

Chanpen Thai Cusine– Phoenix Arizona

March 10, 2017

This was next to a grocery store and there was not great parking. I had to drive my wheelchair through the middle of the parking lot for quite a ways to get on the sidewalk. To get to the bathroom inside there was a long skinny hall way.  I could get to the bathroom barely, but I did and when you get to the restroom it was actually surprisingly accessible, but they did have their cleaning supplies under the sink and in the way a bit. Just barely made it in and out, and getting out was slightly harder. But the rest of the restaurant was pretty nice and accessible and our table worked well.

Riparian preserve at water ranch – Gilbert Arizona

March 10, 2017

There was very good handicap parking, there were a few handicap spots at each end of the parking lot. They have very nice trails that are mostly wheelchair accessible and a sidewalk path around the lake and a boardwalk across part of it.

Joe’s farm Grill – Gilbert Arizona

March 10, 2017

We found a handicap spot on the south side which had a very nice loading zone next to it. But the restrooms are on the other side. This is where I had to go first so we walked all the way around the building to get to the restrooms.  They were family restrooms that were very nice and accessible. The door and the line area was very crowded.  At this place you fill your own drinks and wait for your number be called to pick up your food. The table we found worked well for me.
