Cracker Barrel – Flagstaff, Arizona

 March 4, 2013

There was good handicap parking on the side of the building. Inside the building was a little crowded which is normal for Cracker Barrel's with all their stuff in their stories.  The table we were seated at was good.  The bathroom was a little small but okay, there was not a ton of extra space.  the stall was a little small but okay the sink area was crowded around it and not too easy to use.

Petrified Forest visitors Center - exit 311 in Arizona

 March 4, 2013

The main reason we stopped here was because about 2 miles previously we had a tire blowout so we had to change a tire. The bathroom was okay the doors are okay to get in.  The handicap stall was an alright stall and better than most that you find. There was good space throughout the bathroom, the sink worked well but there was only one of the three that were actually working. We also used our own paper towels.

Painted Cliffs Welcome Center - Interstate 40, Exit #359 in Arizona

March 4, 2013

Parking was good there were some handicapped spots that all would work well.  The doors and entryways were alright.  There was a decent amount of space in the welcome center that had all the travel information.   the bathroom was okay the stalls were kind of small with not much extra space, the sink was okay to use they didn't have any paper towels so we had to use the dryer thing which I don't think it's a good idea to drive my power chair with a wet hand to get to the dryer so we bring our own paper towels just in case.

Northwest New Mexico Visitor Center I-40 Exit 85 - Grants New Mexico

March 4, 2013

There was plenty of space to park in the parking lot with multiple handicap spots that all would work well.  It was a little steep to get from there up to the door the sidewalk/path from the parking lot to the door was rough and bumpy to drive over with my wheelchair.

When I got there, there was an automatic door which made things a lot easier.

Inside there was a ton of space and a nice big window to look out also there was travel information filling the building along with a Museum and a small auditorium. They had a family accessible bathroom which had quite a bit more space than normal stall would have, this was nice.  The sink and the paper towels are both easy to get to and worked well.

Subway - Grants New Mexico

March 4, 2013

The parking was not so good but it worked, we had to move the van to get in it when we were done. Inside was okay it was kind of a small building and a little tight to get around most of the building.  They did have two handicap tables. The one we sat at worked great.   The bathroom was down a long hall.  When I got to the bathroom I realized it was occupied, so I backed all the way out. Then later when it was clear, I went back down the hall and found a rather small bathroom with just barely enough room.

Drury Inn and Suites Albuquerque - New Mexico

March 3, 2013

The parking was good in the front of the building and there were also a couple spots on the sides of the building right next to the door. The front door was great since it was automatic. The spot at the end of the building right next to the door was close to our room which was at the end of the hall.  This made it really easy to unload and load back up.

Our room worked okay I guess it was an accessible room with two Queen Beds with a roll in shower.   It was difficult to get in and out of bed and we had to drag me to the corner so the lift could get somewhat under the bed.  The table in the room I could not quite get under. Our room didn't have a whole lot of space but a little more than a regular room.

The bathroom was a good bathroom, the sink I could use good for brushing my teeth but did have a little trouble reaching the water and towels. The roll in shower we didn’t actually use but it looked like it would've worked well.

The problem with this hotel comes on our next visit a week later.

Bostons – Albuquerque NM

March 3, 2013

We went from our hotel across both parking lots to get to Boston's it was not very easy to get on the sidewalks. When we got there it was easy to get in the building and there was a good amount of space. It was easy to get to our table, the table worked well. I did not use the bathroom.
