Welcome to the Accessible Roadtrip Blog. I will be posting information about how accessible places I have been are, including information on bathrooms, restaurants, and hotels.
This had a big open parking lot and we parked further out a
bit so I don’t really remember about handicap parking. Inside was a little
crowded in the entry area. The restroom was probably okay but I didn’t actually
use it. Our table worked just fine.
We parked on the street at a park about a block or so away.
This was an old library building. Inside they had a decent restroom on the main
floor. Most of the museum was on level 2 and 3 and they had an elevator. Most
of the museum was easy to navigate through.
There was a handicap parking spot. There was a step at the
door to get into the building. My dad went in and asked if there is another
entrance and they said there wasn’t and said they need to get around to
building a ramp someday.
This hotel had nice parking in front. The
building had an automatic door. Inside was quite spacious in the front and easy
to get to the elevator. Our room was a two queen accessible room.
This was a
nice spacious room with a sitting area up front than the two queen beds that
were open underneath which was useful with the Hoyer lift.
It had a nice size
bathroom but no roll in shower. It had a tub with bars. The sink was easy to
use and it was easy to get to the toilet.
August 10, 2016 It was easy to park and easy to enter the
stadium and easy to get to our seats. The family restroom we used a couple
times was very nice. This night was very hot and humid especially after it
rained but other and that I had a nice night at the ballpark.
Parking was a bit difficult, but I suppose it
worked okay. Then you have to follow the signs and then take an elevator
upstairs to the cafeteria which is in an old school. The cafeteria part was
easy to get around and our table worked well.
This was next to our hotel so I was able to
drive my wheelchair there which was easy enough. When we arrived they didn’t
have any open tables except a small one in the bar area, so we waited for a
while. The table we eventually got worked well. Inside was pretty easy to get
around. I did not use the bathroom.
Was a little difficult to find but it might have
just been our GPS was lost. There was good parking and the lobby was very easy
to navigate. They had nice restrooms and the family restroom which was a large
room with a ton of space. The tropical dome was nice and pretty easy to get
around outside there were nice paths but the garden kind of just came to an
end. But everything there was very accessible.

I could barely get in but I made it and the inside was very
crowded and the restroom was not wheelchair accessible. The table worked okay,
but it was probably the only table that would work.
My name is Ryan I enjoy watching sports especially the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos. As well as traveling eating and cooking. I am also affected by Muscular Dystrophy which makes some things harder but you still have to get up every day so you might as well enjoy life as much as you can.
